The Children’s Literature Association named this “the best American children’s book of the past two hundred years,” and Joseph Robinette, working with the advice of E. B. White, has created a play that captures this work in a thrilling and utterly practical theatrical presentation. It’s the story of friendship and sacrifice. Determined to save Wilbur, Charlotte begins her campaign with the ”miracle” of her web in which she writes,“Some pig.” It’s the beginning of a victorious campaign which ultimately ends with the now-safe Wilbur doing what is most important to Charlotte.

Auditions January 23 & 24 2012 Honey McGee Playhouse from 6 to 9 p.m.

I want to thank all 64 who auditioned for me over the past two days-- there was some very good talent! Now comes the hard part, reducing 64 into a cast size of 26. Lots of things were taken into consideration for this decision, but it still doesn’t make the choices any easier. Please don’t be discouraged if your name is not on the list, and I hope that you audition for me in the future.

If your name is on the list below—Congratulations! The first rehearsal will be Monday, January 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Honey McGee Playhouse. Scripts and schedules will be passed out at that time.
