Project Theatre
Developed in 1989, Project Theatre serves as a vital children's educational resource for the North Texas and Southern Oklahoma region. The primary goal of Project Theatre is to help aid area schools with their theatre curriculum for little or no cost through three distinct and unique programs:
Theatricks-On-The-Go
Offers two exciting opportunities for students to view a live production in their school.
Center Stage
Invites school groups to attend a working rehearsal to observe the director, actors, and technicians as they enter the vital last week of rehearsal. At the end of the rehearsal performance, students attending can talk with the production crew and actors. Directing style, acting technique, and technical process are different areas which might be of interest to students.
In the Classroom
Allows for a SCP representative to conduct an in the class workshop or for an portrayal of a famous character in history or literature.
